im not the GOAT because of my annual returns im the goat because from 2014 to early 2020 i put up 72 straight winning months with no drawdown greater than 2%….a record no one will ever break. In one year i had only 2 losing days, another year, 3..thats why im the goat
i dont have mansions and ferrari’s…im a worker bee..day trading is like working in a coal mine…i take my shovel and lunch pail to work everyday…Nav and CIS were great traders but im the GOAT, its not close
So much horseshit in the books and on the internet about “great traders”…some of these morons made $50 million, and then managed to have $15 million losing months lol…and we subconciously glamorize this…Day trader, true day trading, is grinding and very little drawdown
So when people say “Nav was better than you” hold on…he made more MONEY than me, but he also 1) held positions overnight (i do not) 2) had little risk control 3) whether u want to use Sharpe Ratios or some other metric, he could not hold my socks, bitch
think about his: for 72 months in a row, i never had anything more than 2% drawdown…lol…and never had a losing month…lol…and in one 24 month period, i had only 5 losing days..so if you think Nav or CIS or the Flipper is better than me, thats fine..clearly u cant do math
to show you how bad Nav Sarao was, he made $47 million, and gave it all away to a scam artist…..he never had risk control as a trader, or any other aspect of his life. me? i show up to work, im a day trader, i usually win, im a brilliant craftsman, and i dont lose. Whose better
The Flipper is better than me? Well, once he could not SPOOF anymore, and ran away to Singapore, whats he done lately? lol…bro, get serious…i show up to work, i do my day trading, i make money, i do my job, its not glamorous, trading never is…and im fucking good
If as an up and coming trader you want to worship NAV, and CIS and the FLIPPER, that, in my opinion is detrimental to your career as a trader…..
a whole generation of traders was ruined by Market Wizards book lol…
Let me sum it up this way: if they wrote a book about my trading it would be “we showed up, and nothing much happened. He clicked the button alot, made $1100, and 13 hours later he went to do the laundry”…this is day trading. Chop Wood, Carry Water.
stop reading things like Flash Crash or reading about Nav Sarao…stop reading market wizards…study folks like me, like @SunriseTrader
